please send PPT on Solar Street lights and Off-Grid & On-Grid Solar Systms
I want to setup an off-grid/stand alone system, but I don’t want any storage. I want to harness power during daytime only. so can I design my system without batteries.
Yes, a stand alone system can be configured however you want it, with or without storage.
Hi, I’m interested in installing a stand alone PV system to a garage. In the winter months I am concerned about low light levels not meeting demand, if I was to include a small generator where would it fit into the circuit and would it require any other controls? Thanks for your help.
please can you tell me more about the effect of hot climate on the efficiency of a PV system ? For ambient temperature in the range of (31 to 40 ) C ?
Heat reduces cell efficiency
We would like a solar unit to power our pool pump. Can our pool pump be directly plugged in to this system?
Changing a mains powered AC pool pump for a high volume solar powered low voltage DC pump driven by solar panels during the day is a good way to use solar energy. Depending on the volume of water you wish to circulate, either in gallons or litres per minute will determine the size and voltage of the pump and thus the power output required by the solar panels.
Can a stand alone system be installed by a qualified electrician, who is not a contractor? Here a contractors license is required io connect to the grid. Thanks Penny
A basic stand alone system can be as simple as a single PV panel, battery and charge controller which can be connected or installed by the 众鑫彩票注册 owner. Different regulations apply to different countries.
Really like this article, the diagram is really helpful. I shared this article with a few of my colleagues. Overall a great resource site on green energy.
Great informations on pv solar panel. Keep up the good work :)209
Thanks Johnk, glad you like it 🙂
Really good job on the site, I am currently doing some research and found exactly what I was looking for.
Happy it helps, 🙂
Extremely helpful! 🙂 Answered questions I didn’t even know I had yet. I’ll be bookmarking this site for future alternate power queries and knowledge.
Hi Rachel, thanks for the kind comment, glad it helps. Good luck with living off-grid. 😉
